Established in 1981

Sun Air Travel Services is the holding company behind Sun Air Aviation and Sun Air Group, established in 1981. Operations began in 1991 under previous company name Air West.

Air West was transformed into Sun Air Aviation in 2008 with commencement of scheduled passenger flights to all Sudan’s national airports, and international destinations in the Middle East region and Africa
